A Family Legacy Built on Flooring
Carpetland USA isn’t just a business—it’s a family tradition.
Our story began in 1971 when Eric Langan’s grandfather opened the first Carpetland USA location in Davenport, Iowa. As demand grew, a second location was established in Clinton in the late 1970s. In the early 1980s, Eric’s father, Mike Langan, took ownership and continued expanding the company’s reach and reputation throughout the region.
In 2004, Eric Langan stepped into leadership as President and Owner, carrying forward the values and vision that have defined Carpetland USA for generations. Under his leadership, the company has grown to nine locations—six in Iowa and three in Illinois—while continuing to deliver the same personalized service customers have come to expect.
